OUR PASTOR

 

Pastor Michael Larbi was born in Ghana and is also British.  He has lived most of his adult life in London, England. He has four young adult sons and a teenage daughter. After obtaining a first degree in civil engineering, he worked for a couple of decades in the UK and Europe as a software engineer, technology consultant, and solution architect in companies including IBM and Amazon.com, and in multiple industries. Michael is a longstanding member of the British Methodist Church, where he became an accredited Local Preacher in March 2013, with Methodist Central Hall Westminster being his home church. He graduated in May 2021 with a Master of Divinity from Duke University Divinity School and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Asbury Theological Seminary. Prior to his theological education at Asbury and Duke, he served as a ministry intern in Kwanglim Methodist Church, Seoul, South Korea for two years. Michael is a certified elder candidate and licensed local pastor in the North Carolina Methodist Church.
